The sign says: "In this churchyard lies the remains of the farmer Jon Andersson from Kåfverö in Å parish. He was widely known as the oldest man who ever lived in Sweden, being 147 years and two months at his death on 18th April 1729. He was born on 15th February 1582. May he rest in peace."
That was not what we expected to find on our Sunday-outing.
