WEEK 20 PROMPT

"This is never going to come out," she thought as she scrubbed at the spot on the worn carpet.


This is my text:

"I can still smell it", said Rebecca, kneeling with her nose just inches above the floor.
"Pity, it was an heirloom from Grandma, genuine Persian," lamented Cathy.
"Well, let's try some of this special soap that Peter at Pet Palace recommended," Rebecca replied, opening a bottle and dabbing a quantiy of a liquid onto a sponge.
"This is never going to come out," she thought as she scrubbed at the spot on the worn carpet.
Anna-Matilda, the new red-striped kitten, looked on, shaking and cowering, hidden under the antique china cabinet, out of sight.

Fluffy Friday # 32-A ginger tom called Gustav / Dunig fredag nr 32- En röd hankatt vid namn Gustav

Since Calle Cat is staying on the farm while the sun shines, it's nice to have another ginger cat nearby.

abctema: ABC i ord og bilder runde 3 - K som i KATT / Norweigian abc Wednesday - K as in CAT

This is the first time that I am participating in the Norwegian version of abc-Wednesday for the letter K. My K-word is CAT. This is an easy letter, because I only need to show myself, since I am a cat and part Norweigian Forest Cat at that! (Sorry about the English, but this is a bilingual blog. Wish I could write this in Norwegian, but I have never been to Norway. So my English and Swedish will have to do.)

Detta är första gången jag deltager i 'norska abc-Wednesday', d.v.s. 'abc i Ord og Bilder - K '. Mitt K-ord är katt. Det var lättast att börja med K. eftersom jag själv är katt! Jag är en vanlig huskatt med ett stänk norsk skogkatt i mig. (Mormor var 'skogis'.) Jag ber om överseende för att texterna är på båda engelska och svenska. Bloggen är genomgående tvåspråkig.

Fluffy Friday # 29 - Dark clouds! / Dunig Fredag nr 29 - Mörka moln!

It's time for 'Fluffy Friday' again. It is definitely summer! But between sunny weather we can also get rain. This roof, that is meant to protect these ladders, is also an excellent shelter for us cats if we get caught in the rain.

Det är Dunig fredag igen. Och nu är det definitivt sommar! Men mellan sköna soliga dagar kan vi få regn. Taket här, som är avsett att skydda stegarna, är också bra regnskydd för oss katter.

We can even walk on the ladders and use them as a narrow floor, since we have such a good sense of balance!

Vi kan till och med gå utmed stegarna ungefär som på ett smalt golv, eftersom vi har så gott balanssinne.

It's spring! And I am actually going out to take a look.

Anna opens the door. Matte öppnar dörren.

But what do we see? Men vad ser vi härute?

Snow! On April 22nd! Hopefully, it is the very, very last snow.

So I think I'll just stay inside and roll in my rug.

Jag tror att jag stannar inomhus och gosa med mattan här.
